There comes a time when our elderly loved ones are no longer able to run their own errands. Sometimes, it could be because they are too frail or sick to go out on their own, or it could be because they have lost their ability to drive.
For most seniors, losing the ability to run personal errands usually means losing independence which can be a big blow to their self-worth and confidence. While some arrangements, such as running these errands on behalf of our elderly loved ones, or arranging with a neighbor to chip in once in a while, can help matters, they usually leave senior citizens feeling useless and less involved in their own lives.
But there is a way to help seniors with their errands while still preserving a bit of their independence through our Errands and Shopping Service. Through this service, we provide trustworthy caregivers to accompany and assist seniors who are still able to get out of their houses with their errands. That way, these seniors are able to play an active role in their lives.
For clients who are housebound for one reason or another, our caregivers will run errands on their behalf but strive to involve them in the process as much as possible by seeking their advice and approvals on most details. That way, these seniors are able to go on with their lives without depending on family members, neighbors, and friends.
